 The 1 Year Advanced Replacement Warranty (covers hardware) goes into effect the date of purchase. Should the unit malfunction or break, Recorders.com will transmit an Etag or electronic FEDEX shipping tag via Email. This electronic communication may be used as an official FEDEX shipping label. The malfunctioning unit will be shipped back to Recorders.com (no freight expense to our client) and replaced with a new unit.

The product will be replaced with the same product model by the same manufacturer. If the model has been discontinued, Recorders.com will replace the faulty product with the "new and improved" (i.e. it may have more features) model.

  • We have used other devices however, the university now requires all mobile devices that are used to store protected information to be encrypted. We are using both the DS7000 and DS3500 recorders to record patent encounters, the high quality audio is great improvement over the Sony devices we used in the past.  All files are now protected and the process of sending the files through the software was seamless.

  • I use the DS7000 to record client encounters. Sound quality is excellent, file format is great for transcripionist and the menu navigation is intuitive. Recording time is way more than I could ever use, great tool for professionals.

  • We have been using the DS4000 and found the screen was hard to read and had several issues with the Xd cards  getting corrupt. We recently switched some users to the DS7000 and found the device to be incredibly reliable and user friendly. We are now moving our entire practice to this device, it is much more effective than the previous models.

  • Everything we needed to manage our dictations remotely. Very pleased with the ease of use and durability. I have owned 4 other devices that would not allow me to rewind and re-dictate my notes. The DS7000 works great when you need to edit a dictation or want to go back to a dictation and review what was previously said for further documentation. When I have completed my dictations for the day I place the unit in the docking station and the software sends the files to my transcriptionist.  This is a great way for both myself and my office to keep up with our daily notes without hassle.

  • Metal case can take hit, dropped it twice and was shocked it was still working fine. Includes accessories in the box that are nice to have. Rechargeable via USB or the included cradle, which is convenient.
