USB Flash Drive (USB Direct)
Both units plug directly in to USB port on a computer or hub, provides simple solution for transferring files and images to and from pc. The all in one units have built Flash Memory for fast Data transfer, 512 MB for ICD-U60 and 1GB for the ICD-U70.

Part 2
Digital Voice Recorder
Record up to 250 hours with the ICD-U60 in LP Mode and about 500 hours with the ICD-U70. You can store your recordings in up to five different folders. For recording you can choose between 3 recording modes HQ for high quality crystal clear recording, or LP (long play) and SP (standard play) for extended recording. The Sony units also feature voice activated recording , and adjustable microphone sensitivity.

Part 3
MP3 Player
Just drag and drop your MP3 files into a folder on the device and you can listen to up to 8 hours of music with the ICD-U60 and 16 hours with the ICD-U70.
