Insert, overwrite and delete functions allow full editing and continuity of dictation
Five dictation folders allow easy organization and archiving of files. You can also transfer files directly to your PC via a USB cable for further editing and professional transcription.
The .dss file format is the international standard for professional speech processing. Offering outstanding audio quality for recorded voice, .dss files allow a high compression rate, reduce file size, network traffic and required storage capacity. The format also allows additional information, such as client/patient name,
document type to be stored in the file header, further facilitating file organization. The .dss Pro format is an extension to the .dss format that supports file encryption to protect confidential dictation data and optimizes speech recognition results.
Choose between three recording modes QP, SP or LP
Workflow management capability includes definition of keywords. Mandatory keyword input such as the author's name or work type can be assigned to the dictated files and changed by using the jog-wheel. Supports 20 keywords for up to 5 folders.
End-of-letter index marks a dictation file as complete and automatically generates a new file (this button can also be disabled)

Dictation files can be routed through the network to onsite or offsite transcription stations. E-mail/FTP function can be used for manual and automatic dictation transfer.

Philips Speech Processing North America (“PSP-NA”), warrants each unit of office dictating product sold by it under the Philips trademark to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase from an authorized source.
Prior to contacting PSP-NA or the person from whom the products were purchased, please read the instruction manual carefully. Additionally, for battery operated product, make sure that the
batteries are not discharged or installed incorrectly.
In the event the products purchased show defects in material or workmanship within one year after the date of original purchase, the purchaser must promptly notify the place or person from
whom the products were purchased and take or ship the products to such place or person,making sure to include a copy of the sales slip as proof of the purchase date. Products returned
by mail or common carrier should be insured against loss or damage, since such loss or damage is not covered by the PSPNA warranty.
